Whenever people ask me about V-Boost, I usually tell them one thing first:
Take your time.
One thing I have noticed in Web3 is that many people are always in a hurry. They want to understand everything immediately, and sometimes they skip the learning process completely.
I don’t think that approach helps.
After spending time studying the Vistory ecosystem and going through the V-Boost Essentials materials, I realized that some beginner mistakes are completely avoidable.
These are simply my personal observations, and I hope they help someone who is just getting started.
Mistake No1: Trying to Understand Everything at Once
This was one of my own mistakes.
The first time I encountered V-Boost, I wanted to understand Passport NFT, VGF, CES, BGB, Level NFT, Voucher NFT, auto-upgrade, auto-reactivation, and everything else at the same time.
Looking back, that was unnecessary.
The Essentials document presents a newcomer path that starts with creating a wallet, registering, activating a position, and then gradually growing participation.
Sometimes learning step by step is better than trying to understand everything in one day.
Mistake No2: Ignoring V-Academy
One section that caught my attention in the Essentials document was V-Academy.
According to the document, V-Academy provides videos, guides, quizzes, and hands-on learning in a “learn → apply” format. And certificate is awarded after passing the courses.
Personally, I think beginners should spend time learning before making assumptions.
Questions are normal.
Nobody understands everything immediately.
In fact, I believe learning is one of the most valuable investments anyone can make in Web3.
Mistake No3: Not Understanding Passport NFT
At first, I thought Passport NFT was simply another NFT.
Later, I realized that Passport NFT acts as the foundation of a participant’s presence inside V-Boost, storing identifiers, tiers, settings, structures, and related activity. VGF rewards are connected to the wallet that owns the Passport NFT.
Understanding that changed the way I looked at the ecosystem.
Sometimes confusion disappears when we understand the purpose behind something.
Mistake No4: Ignoring Automation
When I first read about auto-upgrade and auto-reactivation, I honestly didn’t pay much attention to them.
Later, I realized these mechanisms are important parts of the system.
According to the Essentials document, auto-upgrade supports movement to higher tiers while auto-reactivation helps maintain continuous participation after a cycle is completed.
I think understanding these concepts helps reduce unnecessary confusion.
Mistake No5: Focusing on Excitement Instead of Understanding
Perhaps this is the most important lesson I have learned.
Blockchain technology changes quickly.
Communities grow.
New products appear.
Excitement comes and goes.
But understanding remains valuable.
Personally, I believe people should focus on learning, asking questions, studying official materials, and understanding the mechanics before making decisions.
Knowledge usually brings confidence.
And confidence built on understanding is far more valuable than confidence built on emotions.
My Personal Conclusion
If I could go back and give advice to myself when I first started exploring V-Boost, I would probably say this:
Slow down.
Learn one thing at a time.
Read official materials.
Ask questions.
Take advantage of V-Academy.
And don’t be afraid to admit when something is confusing.
Nobody knows everything from the beginning.
We all learn step by step.
And perhaps that is one of the reasons I enjoy sharing my journey through ApexWeb3 Academy.
Soft Reminder
Before participating in any blockchain ecosystem, I believe it is always wise to study official materials, ask questions, and focus on understanding rather than rushing.
Learning may take time, but understanding is worth it.
